DiCentral Boosts Supply Chain Efficiency for Fox Luggage Unlocking New Retail Growth

March 17, 2020

HOUSTON, TX — Fox Luggage (www.foxluggage.com), a California-based suitcase manufacturer and distributor, has partnered with DiCentral’s cloud-based EDI platform to ensure smoother and more efficient supply chain process.

DiCentral was first introduced to Fox Luggage when they sought to bring Amazon on board as a primary dropshipping retailer in an effort to grow its customer base. DiCentral’s scalable, cloud-based platform has enabled the suitcase manufacturer has expanded its relationships with other retailers requiring EDI compliance.

Skip She, senior shipping manager at Fox Luggage, recalls the ease with which DiCentral was integrated into the company’s existing supply chain structure, helping enhance pre-existing relationships with national retail brands such as Burlington Coat Factory and Stein Mart.

“DiCentral’s software is easier, you can create any form or document, it’s simple -- that would be the biggest thing for me,” said She. “Choosing their EDI solution was common sense; it really increased our functioning efficiency.”

One feature utilized by Fox Luggage is DiCentral’s bundled advance ship notice (ASN) feature, which allows for multiple account summaries originating from varying stores within the same family or company of retailers to be bundled into a single report. This feature set has greatly reduces the time and costs required when handling retailers with multiple purchase orders from different store locations.

“When we’re sending purchase orders individually, the bundled ASN feature is very helpful for creating an ASN for the individual store and consolidating it into one ASN document for each retailer’s e-commerce,” said She. “This process makes other parts of the process easier, such as invoicing.”

Since Fox Luggage takes full advantage of the EDI solutions offered by DiCentral, the supply chain process is far more streamlined. Purchase orders, account summaries, and invoices are all received and processed within the same EDI solution, making communication throughout the supply chain easier to manage or adjust. Today, Fox Luggage partners with 10 retailers that rely on EDI in great part due to DiCentral’s level of functionality and efficiency to handling these client relationships.

“When a company takes full advantage of the technological opportunities before them, they can truly unleash their full potential,” said Thuy Mai, DiCentral CEO. “Fox Luggage is a great partner in this endeavor and I look forward to many more years of productive partnership.”
