Crane USA Partners with DiCentral to Improve End-to-End Visibility and Inventory Control & Order Management

National Small Appliance Manufacturer Extends Existing Partnership with Leading B2Bi Managed Services Provider by Integrating EDI with DiCentral’s Order Management System (OMS)

HOUSTON – November 22, 2017 DiCentral, a leading global provider of B2Bi Managed Services, today announced an extension of its partnership with Crane USA, a leading small appliance manufacturer.   After the initial partnership with DiCentral, Crane further extended its use of the cloud based EDI solution by integrating   DiCentral’s order management system OMS in an effort to improve inventory control and integrate trading partner transactions with third party logistics providers (3PLs).

The expanded partnership provides Crane with end-to-end inventory visibility reports across multiple channels to forecast and budget more accurately and respond more quickly to seasonal demands and potential product delays.

“Crane can now support over 400 customers by ensuring item availability of over 100 products while reducing inventory costs each month,” says Dirk Neidermann, Division President of Crane USA, “End-to-end visibility came with customizations that fit exclusively for our business processes, and has also enabled Crane to reduce manual data entry by integrating EDI data directly into our QuickBooks accounting system. DiCentral also enabled us to extend these capabilities to LeSaint, our third party logistics provider.”

The ability to synchronize order and inventory warehouse management with EDI solutions enabled Crane with greater inventory control and enhanced order processing. The end-to-end order management flexibility can equally support bulk and single-SKU fulfillment programs.
