Astrologie Novelty Apparel Distributes Products Worldwide With DiCentral's Help

March 15, 2021

Founded in 2003, Astrologie specializes in private label products for several large U.S. retailers, offering both import and quick-turn domestic production in Los Angeles. In 2016, Astrologie chose DiCentral, a leading global provider of business-to-business integration (B2Bi) Managed Services, for its EDI solutions to comply with requirements from the Ascena Group, the largest specialty retailer for women and girls fashion in the country.

Astrologie uses DiCentral for its advanced shipping notices (ASNs), invoicing, and purchase orders. This has helped enable the company to expand its business by pursuing new relationships with retailers such as Macy’s, Dillard’s, and Nordstrom – all trading partners that require similar EDI use.

"The deployment was excellent and we didn't have to do much on our end," said Sandra Luz, EDI specialist at Astrologie. "DiCentral's solutions are a huge value-add because when manually entering data, all of the shipping and order information would usually take half a day or more. Today, however, DiCentral auto-generates our shipping labels in just minutes."

Astrologie can now focus more on its core business while DiCentral solutions are used to optimize production, allocation, and distribution. Uniquely positioned as the only person at Astrologie who manages the DiCentral EDI solutions, Luz says that DiCentral exceeded her expectations due to its ability to streamline Astrologie’s shipping processes and achieve new levels of operational speed.

"Before the deployment, we were clearly wasting time and money,” Luz continued. “As one of the more efficient and user-friendly platforms I have used, DiCentral stands out. They are competitively priced and their customer service is quick to respond when needed."

Astrologie's product line consists of novelty tops, dresses, loungewear, and sleepwear. They focus on a wide range of fashionable novelty knit fabrics as well as wove-yvns. Astrologie’s mission is to provide their customers with trend-right design, unsurpassed quality, and affordable pricing.

"Like Astrologie, we understand the importance of supreme quality, reliability, and speed to market," said Thuy Mai, DiCentral CEO. “We are pleased to partner with them as they expand their trading partner alliances in Los Angeles and throughout the world."
